Before results come in

As polls close and before we know any results,  I just wanted to say thank you. While I wish we could've spent more time in person together, I'm thankful we connected through Facebook Lives, phone calls, and those early conversations at your doors. Over and over again, I was uplifted and reminded why I'm proud to raise my daughter in our community.

This election, we worked our hardest. I'm proud of how this campaign has shaped the race. Working class families were the center of the conversation - exactly where we deserve to be.

Thank you for being an active part of our democracy,

Linda Michelle Serrato

Democrat for HD 45

One more day!

I can't believe we're almost at Election Day!

Team Linda has been working overtime to reach voters and help individuals vote and we have some tips for tomorrow!

If you're still making a decision in HD 45, please take a moment to learn more about Linda Serrato

If you are voting in person: If you are going to vote tomorrow, please be kind to our poll workers. They are adjusting to a different environment than any of us could have predicted. Be sure to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines. If you live in House District 45 and need a mask, pen, gloves and alcohol wipes, request a Vote Safely Kit from Team Linda! We can deliver it before voting begins tomorrow.

If you didn't receive your mail in ballot: I know many of us are still waiting for our mail in ballots to arrive. If you receive it, please take your ballot to an Election Day voting location or the County Clerk's office.

If you don't have it tomorrow, you can vote by signing an affidavit confirming that you do not have a ballot and you can vote provisionally. All provisional votes are counted.

However you vote, be sure to stay safe. We can make a difference in our community and our state!

This Memorial Day

This Memorial Day is a little different than most. Today, as we recognize our service women and men, we also recognize our frontliners - the countless firefighters, nurses, doctors, and others - who have sacrificed everything to protect us.

Each day, our emergency workers put themselves at risk of coming in contact with COVID-19 without proper protection. We've lost too many of these selfless workers.

Those bold enough to serve leave a lasting legacy. Linda’s grandfather served in World War II and earned his citizenship, ensuring her entire family would be Americans. More than 70 years later, her family remembers how he shaped our futures.

Today, we'll be thinking of all the families - military and frontline - and honoring their loved ones' legacies.

Vote Safely

This weekend, The Albuquerque Journal endorsed our campaign, citing our campaign's "energy" and "fresh voice"! We're honored to have the support of BOTH The Albuquerque Journal and The Santa Fe Reporter along with 11 Democratic and progressive organizations like Sierra Club: Rio Grande Chapter, Conservation Voters New Mexico, Animal Protection Voters, Planned Parenthood Votes and many others!

With Election Day is right around the corner, we want to make sure you can vote safely. Starting this Saturday, if you live in HD 45 and are voting in person or dropping off your mail-in ballot at a voting location, we'll be happy to provide a Vote Safely Kit at your door. We'll drop off a mask and other items at your home in the early morning. Click here to sign up!

Stay Safe and Stay Engaged!

NEW Endorsements!

Our community deserves bold ideas that help working families thrive. And now, three more groups agree: Linda Serrato will be the BEST leader for House District 45.

The Santa Fe Reporter, Working Families Party, and Adelante all endorsed Linda Serrato with ProgressNowNM calling Linda a "Progressive Champion!"

We need bold solutions to confront this pandemic and put our working families first in recovery.

It's time for a compassionate leader, ready to stand with us and demand corporations pay their fair share.

There's only 17 days until this election.

She'll stand for us.

Let's stand together for Linda.

Working Families Stand with Linda

With only 25 days left to vote, Linda is working harder than ever to earn your support in the race for House District 45!

We just got signs in! If you're interested in a large or yard sign and you live in HD 45, please email grassroots@lindafornm.com and we'll get you one right away!

Even more exciting, this week, OLÉ endorsed our campaign for House District 45! I'm proud to have the support of these working New Mexicans fighting for a better future for our families.

Finally, I just wanted to say thanks for all of the support and kindness you've shared during this race. We're living through tough times. No one expected to be home schoolers, mask makers, or expert hand washers.

Through it all, Santa Fe has been an example for the nation. We're social distancing, helping each other and voting by mail. Thank you for caring about our community and each other.

Now it's time for those values to be the bedrock on which we build our recovery. We must have compassionate leaders who will protect working class families and demand corporations pay their fair share. Our communities deserves bold ideas that will protect our future.

If you share these values then I hope Linda can earn your vote.

How far we’ve come

I can’t believe how far we’ve come. This campaign started as a long shot with a strong belief that community members in House District 45 deserved a bold voice on behalf of seniors and working families.

Since then, we’ve knocked hundreds of doors, collected more signatures than any of our opponents, received donations from more New Mexicans than all of our opponents combined, and have support from diverse communities including:

  • American Federation of Teachers New Mexico
  • Planned Parenthood Votes New Mexico
  • Sierra Club: Rio Grande Chapter
  • Conservation Voters New Mexico
  • New Mexico Youth Climate Strike
  • Animal Protection Voters

Linda is ready to stand for our families in the Roundhouse. Let’s keep it up and work all the way through Election Day, Tuesday, June 2nd.
